The FZ5A EASY milling machine line comprises traditional mechanical elements for the motor drive such as pre-charged double leadnuts for the linear x, y and z axes while the rotary axes are driven by crown gears with reduced clearance. The FZ5A EASY line has the same structure as the LINEAR line, modified to accommodate the kinematics chain.
The FZ5A LINEAR milling machine line was designed to obtain loss-free power transmission during machining, for both linear and rotary axes.
The result is the elimination of:
the elasticity effect,
the play effect,
the friction effect,
intrinsic rocking of the kinematics chain.
The absence of transmission elements such as recirculating ball screws and bearings ensure reduced wear, with significant reductions in maintenance costs during the machines life cycle.
The motor drive, linear for axes X, Y and Z and torque for axes B and C, is monitored and cooled in order to guarantee greater precision and reproducibility of the measurements during machining operations.
For the FZ5A line the manufacturer SIEMENS was chosen for the motor drives and HEIDENHAIN for the measuring systems and control unit, both vendors which boast a high technological and qualitative level.
This machine, made completely in Italy, aims to be a step forward towards continuous 5 axis machining, offering the best possible results in terms of dynamicity and precision.
Dynamic anti-collision control.
The incorporated monitoring system has clear advantages as regards safety as it excludes collision between parts of the machine in movement during high-speed machining or manual handling of the 5 axes. In the case of the risk of a collision, the system interrupts the work, ensuring the safety of both the operator and the machine. In this way damage to the machine is avoided as are the costs of suspending production, guaranteeing safer unmanned shifts.
